"The Lord reigneth, He is clothed with majesty;

the Lord is clothed with strength... Thy throne is established of old;

Thou art from everlasting."

(Psalm 93:1,2)

Dear Believers,

     We are thankful to the Lord for His faithfulness.  This month has been full with ministry and blessing.  There is much to accomplish since we are getting closer to "graduating" from the mission next month. We are in the midst of pouring over many details as we review the constitution, develop a pastor's pay package, and go through the steps of calling Pastor Peront as our pastor.  Please pray for the leadership, for ministry meetings, and for decisions that are coming up as a result. It is our desire that God receive glory through every aspect.  A special service is planned as we become an independent church on Sunday, October 26, at 2:30 in the afternoon and we would like to invite you to join us for this joyous occasion. Salem Bible Church has opened up it's doors for this day because our location is not large enough for many guests who would like to attend. We praise the Lord for bringing us to this point!

     Earlier this month, we had a baptism at Crystal Lake in Manchester.  This was a precious time together.  Barbara, Kyle, Jacob, Dan, and Nathan made their profession public that day, as they shared their personal testimonies and committed themselves to following Chirst with their lives.  Click here to see pictures of the baptism.  Please pray for these folks as they seek to live for God each day, especially for Barbara to be kept close to the Lord, since her stand for Christ has resulted in having to move to Maine.

     God has answered prayer in the life of the Hipkes.  They have moved back into their home after many months of repair from the house fire.  The insurance company allowed them 2 extra weeks, and although the occupancy permit is still pending, they were allowed to move back in because the unfinished work did not involve any safety hazards.  There is always a big adjustment with a move, and there are still projects that need to be finished, but they are happy to be HOME!
      Thank you for your prayers these last 6 years as we have been developing as a church. We thank God for each one of you who has taken time to bring us before the Lord.  We approach this special occasion in joy together with you in gratitude for your faithful backing.

                                                       In the love of Christ,
                                                       The Manchester Bible Church Believers
