Prayer Update
December 2010
"Inasmuch
as there is none like You, O LORD, You are great, and Your name is great in
might, Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? For this is Your rightful
due. For among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms,
there is none like You."
Jeremiah 10:6-7
It is the time of year that we think of keeping in touch with you and
reflect on how you have had a special part in the ministry at Manchester Bible
Church. God's faithfulness has been constant to His people and His work
here. One of the highlights of this year was Summer Bible Club. After
many weeks of training and practicing, the teens were ready to be used.
The Lord answered prayer and provided 5 neighborhood locations. He
blessed in a wonderful way as they gave out the Word of God, shared missionary
stories, and encouraged many children to memorize Bible verses. We are
very thankful to God for the number of unsaved who were able to hear the
gospel, and for the willing hard working young people He used. God opened
up many other opportunities for ministry, the start-up of a young adult
fellowship which included ministry at Hackett Hill Nursing Home, and a
Bible study for the ladies.
God has also demonstrated His faithfulness by bringing Ken Jones safely
home from Iraq, provided jobs for several in our fellowship, and gave abundant
comfort since there were several deaths of loved ones. Jennifer Peront's
mom, Gerry Merrill and Charlie Winn went home to be with the Lord. He was the
man who received the Lord in his eighties. There are many others who lost
dear relatives, and God continues to give strength and grace.
As we look to the new year, we look to God for His direction for a
permanent location. Our current location has been great, but we are
limited in ministry due to the number of rooms we have available. The men
are currently looking into a vacant church building in Candia, NH. We are
not sure if this is God's leading, so we ask you to pray with us to know God’s
will. We are blessed to hear from the assembly during our discussion that
if this building is God’s will for us, the assembly is committed to continued
outreach and ministry in the city of Manchester.
We look to our marvelous God who designed an incomprehensible redemption, who
emptied Himself of His deity, became incarnate, and died to save us from our
sins.
O the depth of the riches
both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable
are His judgments, and His ways past finding out! Romans 11:33
