Prayer Update
March/April 2008
"And this is the confidence that we have in Him, if we ask any thing
according to His will: He hears us: and if we know that He hear us,
whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the
petitions that we desired of Him."
( John 5:14-15)
Dear Believers,
We are very comfortable here at the Nackey Loeb School of Communication. It is such a nice place to meet! The leadership training sessions we have been telling you about have now been completed. Because Pastor Peront and his family will be attending conferences for the next few weeks, this will give many of the men opportunity to take part and share the Word of God with us. We thank the Lord for the progress in this area. Please pray for God's direction as we take steps of appointing leaders for our assembly.
As you know from our last update, Jim and Julie Hipke had a fire in their home. God has provided a home for them to rent in the meanwhile until the repairs can be completed. Prayer for them would be very much appreciated as they continue to adjust to their new surroundings and begin work on their home. An exciting opportunity has opened up for them. Their old neighbor, Barbara has begun a Bible study with them. She began the study in their home prior to the fire, and now has continued at their temporary location. Please pray for her salvation.
Recently our assembly had a parent/child dedication, and we also had a fellowship time after one of the Sunday evening services. These were blessed times together. To update you concerning the ministry with the international students, new contacts have been made through Pastor and Jennifer inviting them over to learn about their culture. Four new students came to their home. We are trusting the Lord to provide some continued contact with them. Most of the previous students have not continued with Bible study or church, but a few new students are showing interest. Please pray that we will be used in planting seeds in these lives as long as we have opportunity with them, and that fruit will result in salvation of souls. We especially ask prayer for salvation for Lisa, Linda, and Jesse, the students who still desire to have contact with us.
Thank you so much for your interest in the ministry here,
In the love of Christ,
