"Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above

all that we ask or think, according to the power

that worketh in us, unto Him be glory..."    (Ephesians 3:20-21)

Dear Believers,
We are trusting God to accomplish His work in this way, through the power of His might as we approach Summer Bible Club. This year, it will be August 4th-8th. We appreciate your prayers especially for a location. The one we requested, the city did not allow us, and the one they offered, was in an area where the safety of our children would be a concern. Currently, with less than 1 week away, we have a possible location and are waiting for approval from the proper officials. Much planning still needs to be done as well, and time is short, so we also need His abundant provision and power to work in us.
Pastor Berkheiser from EICM will be traveling up this weekend to discuss the progress of our release from the mission. Lord willing we will become an independent Bible church in the fall of this year. The advisory committee will be meeting on Saturday, and there will be a ministry meeting on Sunday.
This month, Pastor Peront, his family, and a few families from church have taken a wonderful vacation opportunity to visit the Creation Museum in Kentucky. Men at church have been taking turns ministering the Word of God to us in his absence.
Park evangelism has begun, and the Lord provided a good turnout of our young people to pass out tracts and engage people in conversations to share the gospel. It is an inner-city type ministry where many cultures meet at the park. Many are refugees. We meet at Bronstein Park at 6:30 on Tuesday evenings, and start passing out tracts with an invitation to come and listen to a Bible study and Bible stories from the children. It was a blessing to see several of our Christian young ladies sitting with girls who were at the park and sharing with them. Also, a few ladies from Sudan with their children, sat to listen an explanation of the Wordless book. Because of their difficulty with the English language, many of the mothers enjoy the Bible stories because they are able to understand them. Please pray for Zanab and Sabrin. Zanab was so very excited to receive help reading the Scriptures in English and to hear the gospel explained. She has visited church and her children may attend Bible club.
Thank you for your prayers for the new believers Linda and Barbara. Both are growing in the Lord. Barbara continues to be enthusiastic about her new life and is attending church faithfully. God has provided a permanent place for Linda to live, and she was able to receive a large scholarship from the new school she is attending in Monterey, CA. Also, she is very happy, studying diligently, and is at the top of her class. Her emails are filled with gratefulness and praise for the opportunity to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Please pray that Linda would be able to connect with an independent fundamental church in the area. Thank you for your interest, prayers, and support for the Lord's work here,
May He do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, in the love of Christ,
