Prayer Update
February 2008

I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning,

and from the ancient times, the things that are not yet done,

saying My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure.

(Isaiah 46:9b-10)

Dear Believers,
We praise the Lord for His provision for a place to meet once again! We have been meeting at the Nackey Loeb School of Communication now since Sunday, February 3rd. It is a comfortable facility that is very conducive to worship. Thank you for praying for the details for the permits and the one year lease agreement. This facility is just large enough for us to grow and has several rooms that we will be able to use for Sunday school, and we are so thankful not to have to move the church in and out every for every service! We are located at 749 East Industrial Drive in Manchester. It is exit 6 off Route 93. For more specific details or directions, please visit our web site at www.manchesterbiblechurch.com.
On the first Sunday we met, the man from the Nackey Loeb School, who has been working in depth with Pastor Peront, planned on coming to the beginning of our first worship service to welcome us. We thank the Lord that he stayed through the whole service and heard the Word of God. Please pray for our testimony as we desire to be a light to him and to those located in this new area.
This past Sunday, we were blessed to have Dean Paul Mangum come to share his trip and slides of Hong Kong and China. His daughter-in-law Kathy is Chinese and Vietnamese, and shared her personal testimony of how she came to believe in Christ as her Savior. Several of the international students were able to attend, and also enjoyed a time together conversing over dinner. It was a wonderful opportunity and ministry! Please continue to pray for the salvation of these students.
Please pray for Jim and Julie Hipke and their family. This past week they had a house fire that caused quite a bit of damage from smoke and water, and they are looking to the Lord for His direction for the next steps that He has planned for them. Ken Jones has completed his military training with the National Guard and will be returning to NH to seek local employment. We are thankful that God has been faithful to use him in each location over these many months and has even provided a church off base for him to worship in several of the places he has moved to. Thank you also for keeping Jennifer's mom, Geri Merrill in your prayers. The Peronts were able to go to Maine to visit her recently, and although her cancer has progressed, she looked and felt well, so they were able to enjoy time with her while she is experiencing some good health.
Thank you so much for faithfully praying for us and rejoicing with us in what the Lord has done!
                                                             In the love of Christ,

                                                             The Manchester Bible Church believers
