Prayer Update
November 2008
"Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving
and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms.
For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods."

Dear Believers,
We thank and praise God for the wonderful dedication service that marked our church becoming an independent Bible church. We sensed such an overwhelming outpouring of support from all those who communicated with us and had an opportunity to attend the service. We also thank the Lord for Salem Bible Church who opened their doors to us once again to host this event. Many pastors from supporting churches participated in the service as well as representatives from the EICM mission board. God has done wonderful things, and it was a day to give Him the glory for it all! The past month's activities and events were a wonderful preparation for our hearts to have a full season of Thanksgiving. We enjoyed a church family Thanksgiving dinner, and a precious time of testimonies.
We continue to thank you for praying for Barbara since she has moved to Maine. She moved in with her daughter Shannon and her husband Wendell and family. We have some exciting answers to your prayers to share. Shannon received the Lord at the beginning of November, and Wendell's salvation followed 17 days later!! They followed the Lord in baptism at the small church they are attending in Maine, and are delighted to begin a Christian home together. What a testimony to see the work of God in their household. All are sharing their testimony with friends, and as a result Wendell's friend and his wife attended church on Sunday as well as the Monday night Bible study with the Pastor in their home. Please pray for Wendell's friend Marshall, his wife Jessica and their children, for salvation.
God has returned your prayers with His abundant blessing. May He continue His work during this Christmas season by bringing many opportunities for all of us to share the gospel with friends and family. We want to share our thanks to God for you, we are so grateful for your faithful prayers all these years.
