Prayer Update
January 2008
Many, O Lord my God, are Thy wonderful works
which Thou hast done, and Thy thoughts which are to us-ward:
they cannot be reckoned up in order unto Thee:
if I would declare and speak of them,
they are more than can be numbered.
(Psalm 40:6)
We are rejoicing in the Lord for His marvelous provision on our behalf. We are happy to report that on January 17th the men presented our case at the public hearing, and we have received the Conditional Use permit that we needed to meet at the Nackey Loeb school (749 East Industrial Park Drive, Manchester). The following week we secured a building permit from the city of Manchester, and now we are awaiting a building and a fire inspection of the space before we begin worshiping in our new location. Both inspections are scheduled for January 30th and by God’s grace we will begin to meet in the new location on Sunday February 3rd. Thank you for your prayers. God is answering them for His glory! Please pray for the men as they review and approve the fifteen-page lease agreement and as we look to God for His blessing our new location.
We have had several other answers to prayer. Jonathan Alexander Sumner arrived at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday January 10, 2008. He was 7lbs. 1oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. Thank you for praying for the baby to be in a good position for delivery. God answered prayer, and both Mom and baby are doing well. Also, Ed and Jane Babineau have moved into their new home in Candia! Thank you for your prayers.
It has been quite some time since we updated you concerning Jennifer Peront's mom. She has completed both chemotherapy and radiation. The chemotherapy has shrunk most of the tumors, but her bone density test revealed that her right arm is very weak and brittle. Over all, her mom seems to be holding steady with some improvement in her general health. Some natural dieting is also helping her to get a little stronger physically. Your prayers for her and the family members are very much appreciated. Please also pray for a few folks in our church family. Dan Bunker's father has been diagnosed with lung cancer, and needs prayer for salvation. Donna Williams suffers with pain on a regular basis, and Linda Steadman, a mother of three girls has had anemia for several months now, and they are seeking the Lord for wisdom concerning other possible health concerns. It has been a long time since both of these dear sisters in the Lord have been able to be out for fellowship.
The international students continue to come to our worship services. Several new students have visited. Many have also come to the home Bible study. They all seem to have a desire for the Word of God as well as a warm family atmosphere. We appreciate your continued prayer for their salvation. It is exciting to see the Lord work in their hearts.
Thank you for sharing in this ministry,
In the love of Christ,
